Jack Shainman Gallery is pleased to present Amalgams and Graphts, an exhibition of new work by Nick Cave. Marking the inaugural presentation at Jack Shainman Gallery’s flagship Tribeca location. This location alone is worth the trip to see the exquisite space they have renovated.
Anchoring the exhibition is a series of three large bronze sculptures, titled Amalgams.
Debuting alongside these bronze figures is Cave’s newest series, Graphts. These mixed media assemblages situate needlepoint portraits of the artist amongst fields of florals and color constructed from vintage serving trays.

Cibone crossed the ocean to open its first global destination in Brooklyn in the neighborhood of Greenpoint and a part of the multi retail and dining complex, 50 Norman. CIBONE Brooklyn presenting lifestyle and artisanal items and gallery, shares a space with two other partners, Japanese French restaurant HOUSE Brooklyn, and dashi speciality DASHI OKUME who has been serving high quality dashi in Japan for 150years. This is a joy to behold the space as well as the art & objects.
Despite being only eight blocks long, Orchard Street, which connects Chinatown and the Lower East Side, is a microcosm of New York—one of my favorite spots to visit now! and now the permanent—outpost of Beverly’s, the homewares store launched by former stylist Beverly Nguyen in 2021.

The Elder Statesman is defined by laidback, quiet luxury and the highest level of integrity. The owner called upon Issac Brest, the designer of his West Hollywood store, to imbue the brand’s California warmth to the heart of downtown Manhattan. Brest created the millwork of The Elder Statesman’s LA flagship and is known for his work with industrial materials such as sheet rock, sanding tools, Plexiglass, and plywood....and as most of you know...i never met a piece of plywood i didn't like!

Climax was established by Isabella Burley in 2020 as a seller of rare and revered books and ephemera. As the chief marketing officer of Acne Studios and the former editor-in-chief of Dazed, during the pandemic she was able to fully realize her vision of her own independent rare book dealership and store:
With its hot pink packaging, minimalist typography, and meticulously curated selection of items that reflect Burley’s own, highly defined tastes, Climax was an immediate hit. Over the past four years, the store has amassed 25,000 followers on Instagram; collaborated with the likes of Heaven by Marc Jacobs and Dover Street Market; and following a successful pop-up at the Sadie Coles Gallery in London.
Named in tribute to the stately park in Chef Daniel Boulud’s hometown of Lyon, France, La Tête d’Or. Designed by David Rockwell, the restaurant’s decor features soaring ceilings, deep blue banquettes, and warm wood and copper accents. This thoughtfully crafted ambiance provides a perfect backdrop for celebrating timeless elegance and Chef Boulud’s culinary artistry.

His new place a 55-seat bistro. This is warm, cozy and a great neighborhood spot!
From the team behind Cervo’s and The Fly — Eel Bar is a restaurant inspired by the food and wine of the Basque country and Southern France.
More than a bar, and somewhat less than a full-fledged restaurant, Eel Bar feels like a tavern with textured glass windows and a touch of downtown scene.

MARKET REPORT
Sales in Manhattan pressed higher as homebuyers grew tired of waiting for mortgage rates to fall. Listing inventory declined annually for the sixth time in seven quarters. Despite the drop, the median sales price decreased year over year for the fourth time. The market share of cash purchases exceeded the sixtieth percentile for the fourth time in five quarters. Luxury price trend indicators increased year over year as luxury listing inventory declined significantly year over year.
Sales in the Hamptons surged annually, reaching normal levels, which is defined as the decade average for the fourth quarter. Listing inventory continued to rise annually, enabling more sales. Price trend indicators declined year over year for the first time in five quarters yet the number of sales above the $5 million threshold was the highest on record.
n most of the Florida markets covered, we continued to see an increase in listing inventory, rising from previously low levels. Gulf-side markets are seeing more supply enter the market than Ocean-side markets. Supply remains below pre-pandemic levels in some markets, but the number of markets experiencing this is decreasing. Price trends have been inconsistent, showing slight fluctuations in both increases and decreases across submarkets. After three years of sliding sales, several markets are beginning to experience an uptick in activity. Consumer patience has waned after waiting three years for mortgage rates to drop, and buyers are starting to take action.
