Brooklyn Copper Pot
March SF
From one of my favorite home stores in the United States. March has an incredible assortment of home items, and this is one of the chicest.

Made in the United States.
Made with a commitment to sustainable manufacturing and low-environmental impact, Brooklyn Copper pieces are meant to be passed down from generation to generation. Each piece is spun from 11-gauge copper free of lead, cadmium, and mercury and hand-laid with pure, non-reactive tin. Copper is 5x more conductive than cast iron and 25x more than stainless steel, making it the perfect complement for the non-stick properties of tin.

Cheese Knife Set
March SF
Made in Italy.
The Berti Cheese Knife set includes a serving knife for softer cheeses, a parmesan knife, and a cleaver for semi-hard cheeses. The set is hand-finished with ground and stamped blades. Comes in a canvas knife roll, perfect for picnics.
Founded by David Berti in 1895 in Florence, Italy, Coltellerie Berti produces knives with the same techniques and materials—ox horn, boxwood, and steel—that Berti first used. Produced in a small Italian factory by less than one dozen master knife makers, each knife is handmade by a single individual who follows the knife to completion, thus maintaining the integrity and authenticity that makes Berti knives some of the finest in the world.

Chef Wave Milk made Non Dairy MilkH3
Goop
Making non-dairy milk has never been easier. Not only does this machine have settings for almond, soy, cashew, oat, macadamia, and coconut milks, it does all the prep work for you, too, so you don’t have to worry about presoaking or straining anything. Just add a handful of nuts or oats (whatever kind of milk you want) plus a drop of vanilla, chocolate, or other flavorings if you like, and make sure there’s enough water in the basin. Set it to begin immediately or delay the start so it’s ready at a certain time, then drink it fresh or store the pitcher in the fridge—you have options. Once all the milk is made, the machine starts an automatic seven-minute self-cleaning process. After that, all you have to do is rinse out the pieces and let them air-dry before putting them back into place. Oh, and PSA: Whichever variety you make, the milk is deliciously creamy.

Millcraft Flower Gathering Basket
Food 52
We know just the thing for gathering flowers out in the garden—and for picnicking and collecting seashells too. This find was inspired by baskets that’ve been handed down for generations, and we can tell: It’s completely handcrafted by Amish basket weavers and leather makers in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It gets its lovely weave from seagrass rope, wood, willow, and reed, and those handles you see on either side are genuine bridle leather. Half-inch-thick plywood gives it a sturdy base to stand on (so don’t be afraid to put it to work).
Every basket is handmade, so there may be slight variations from piece to piece. (That means yours will be one of a kind.)

Frances Palmer H3
March SF
Handmade in the United States.
A whimsical terracotta pedestal bowl finished with a high gloss clear glaze highlighting the beauty of raw material.
Artist and gardener Frances Palmer have been making ceramics since 1987 as an extension of her printmaking practice. Her coveted vessels are handmade in her studio, a Colonial Revival house in Weston, Connecticut. Palmer makes each pitcher, bowl, and vase in service of the contents within, be it flower or food, and sees pieces as functional art to be used on a daily basis.
Size and color may vary slightly as each piece is hand-thrown and hand-glazed.

Jamb Candle -Collaboration with Moro Dabron
Jamb founders Will Fisher and Charlotte Freemantle chose wisely when they decided to partner with designers Auston Moro and Eliza Dabron of Moro Dabron on their first candle. Understanding that a beautiful candle should appeal to almost all the senses – giving a soft glow and an evocative fragrance when lit while looking and feeling lovely when its flame isn’t burning – they have worked together to create an object inspired by their love of the ancient world. The result looks like a souvenir brought home from an 18th-century aristocrat’s Grand Tour – something excavated from an archaeological site or salvaged from the sea bed after centuries. The vessel itself was inspired by a Bronze Age wheel in the British Museum which was cast and hand-patinated at Jamb’s London workshop to give it a uniquely textured verdigris surface.

Deeda Blair book???
Amazon or Rizzoli H4
Deeda Blair: Food, Flowers & Fantasy (Rizzoli), a new book edited by Deborah Needleman, also dazzles, pairing Blair’s recipes for dishes like cold beet soup and Gruyère roulade with images of the memorable settings where she has dined (Hubert de Givenchy’s French country estate Château du Jonchet; the Villa La Fiorentina in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat) and colorful snapshots from her life. “Some of these recipes date back to my grandmother,” she says. “I mean, have you had an aspic recently?”
She dedicates the book both to her late son, who suffered from bipolar disorder and to her husband, who died in 2015 and will donate its proceeds to the medical grants overseen by her initiative. “Everyone wants to fund projects that they know will succeed,” Blair notes in the introduction. Yet now, as much as ever, her mission is to uplift. “I want to fund young researchers I believe in.”

Despite the decline from last year’s sales surge in Manhattan, levels remained significantly higher than in pre-pandemic conditions. Median sales price rose annually to the second highest on record for a third quarter. Sales and average price per square foot fell to the second highest on record, also for a third quarter. Listing inventory was up nominally from the prior year's quarter and pre-pandemic levels. Co-op sales fell year over year for the first time in six quarters, and condo sales fell year over year for the first time in seven quarters. Luxury price trend indicators expanded year over year for the fourth consecutive quarter. Luxury listing inventory expanded year over year but remained well below pre-pandemic levels. New development listings accounted for one-third of all luxury listings, consistent with the decade average. New development sales declined sharply from last year's unusual high but were significantly above pre-pandemic levels. The market share of new development sales was well above the decade's quarterly average.

Despite rising mortgage rates in the Hamptons, price trends continued to set records as the lack of listing inventory persisted. The median sales price has risen to both record and near-record levels for ten straight quarters, to nearly double pre-pandemic levels. The number of sales fell year over year for the fifth consecutive quarter as listing inventory fell annually for the twelfth consecutive quarter and was less than half of pre-pandemic levels.
Across the region, price trends continued to rise, with many markets seeing new highs. Listing inventory expanded over the summer but remained well below pre-pandemic levels. Sales volume slowed compared to the frenzied levels of 2021 before mortgage rates spiked but remained above pre-pandemic levels. The market is coming off of one of the largest housing booms of the modern era, pivoting to more typical activity levels. However, the lack of listing inventory persists as a market condition even with the higher cost of financing. Bidding wars remained a part of the market landscape in the third quarter but with a lower share of sales.
